In my PS the pic looks clear without no noise... Submited and bang! noise on my blue!!! Why?

Downloaded from dpc and then opened in PS again... Looks fine. No noise! What the h%&l!!!

Are you on a dialup connection, and perhaps using an accelerator?

Dial-up! What's the point? Please explain me... How do the others see it?

It's not the dialup connection, it's the dialup "accelerator" that is the problem. They re-compress the image, and essentially ruin the quality. What you're seeing isn't noise, it's jpeg artifacts.
I know it's slower, but please turn off the accelerator when voting, or you will certainly be voting down images for defects that are not there.

Thank you very much. I had no ideea about it! So what I see with the accelarator is different than what the others see. OK! I will check and turn it off. It is not fair to vote down images for defects that are not there.

PS Silly as it is: How do I locate it to turn it off?
