Must have been a good girl this year, now only did I get a new Canon but I also got a new 500mm lens Yee Haww!!

| I am hoping to get some really good wildlife shots with it. We have tons of Eagles and nests in my area, hope to capture some good shots of them. |

It was a good Christmas here, too! My lovely fiancee and her family got me a 70-200 f/4 lens, the full collection of Nik Software and a giftcard to NewEgg to buy parts for my new computer build.

| I love my 500, but you need a good tripod and mount. Hope you also got that for Christmas. Also the 1.4 telextender is a great addition to the lens. What camera did u get? |

I got the Canon T3i, love it so far, have not had a chance to use this monster of a lens yet, thanks for the tips, have a good tripod and it has a mount with it, just hope I can pull this off LOL! |

which 500mm? the canon one at about $6000 or a sigma or tamron zoom etc? if its the canon wowsers..... nice present :) can i be adopted maybe or get in on the xmas cheer :)
just looked at profile its the Canon EF 500mm f/4.5L USM very very nice :)
have you got a gimble mount for it like this?

Uncharted 3 and MW3 for me (and a new kitchen).
I'm of an age where I need to complete one game before I can start the other - my brain won't be able to cope with the change in controls. |
