A shaft? ;-)

Seriously, I think it's purpose was to drive a counter to count revolutions of the shaft or some such thing.

not a counter
04/16/2012 08:30:33 PM · #2235

Sewing machine?

It seems to have a cam in the system, so that just seems logical.

Not a sewing machine.

04/16/2012 08:48:09 PM · #2241

04/16/2012 08:53:28 PM · #2242
Water pump? Butter churn? Ice Cream Maker?
04/16/2012 09:01:40 PM · #2243
Nope, think toy, but very old and not in use today that I am aware of. Because of it's size I don't think it had a practical use.

LOL... Ok.

Took me a second, but that last clue was a killer.

Is it a steam engine?
04/16/2012 09:04:23 PM · #2245
I guess that was too much of a clue. Yes it is.

It's about 10 inches tall and was my dads.

eta again: I may just try and get it working again. It works off of 110V.
