Air pressure relief valve/safety valve, and you've been painting near by?
I'll be back in the morning NY time, so if this is right, someone else can take the new post to keep things moving along.

No, but it is something that might be found inside a home.

Door stop thingy. Has wood threads on one end to go into the baseboard, the other end has the rubber cap to keep the door know from putting a hole in your wall. |

Let's give this one to Giles_uk. It's the top E string on my old beating around flattop guitar.
I like the curb feeler though. I had forgotten about those. With a 59 Chevy, you didn't need them. The fins would knock someone on the sidewalk over and they would tell you when you were too close to the curb.
Hijacking the thread for a minute, one of my pix got published today in the News Press. Here's the article, and it's the 2nd photo. I shot it on the way to work one afternoon from my work truck. I'm not sure what their circulation numbers are, but it's the major paper for this area of Florida.
Big "O" Birding Festival
Another was published in the Palm Beach Post last Thursday in an article about the same event.

Awesome stork shot Waddy.
Darn, I missed the last picture puzzle. Would have got that one for sure. Very similar to my puzzle macro shot from a couple of years ago.

That's a very similar guitar. This one is a Yamaha F G 400. I got it cheap at a pawn shop because the finish is "blushed", so it's my "knocking around" guitar and I don't worry about it getting a few dings.

Mine's a Larivee D-03. Canadian made, all solid wood. Great action and sound.
I don't play it as much as I used to unfortunately. |
