Heh... Take another swing - that was too easy! :)

Really though, I don't have my camera here, so someone else should go ahead and post up! :)

I have a class in 5 minutes. If I get back to the room and there is not a new one I will try again.

So right now, it is open to anyone who wants to put one up.

Sorry for the crappy pic, but you get a size hint with the lines on the paper.

I really wish this game would concentrate less on esoteric bits of kit and more on pieces or segments of common objects. I liked Shutterpug's offering, we had some fun with my soap nozzle, stuff like that. But that's just me. I like it when we look at the photo afterwards and say "So THAT'S what it is@! Why didn't I see that myself?"

What is common for one, may be esoteric for another.

Another option would be to have a "Liar's club" where a picture of an object is presented along with three descriptions of the object, only one of which is true.

Well yeah, but still... It's my personal opinion that these games are most interesting when the mystery objects are, in fact, things that the majority of people actually have in their houses, mundane things that, when recognized, cause everyone who sees them to go "Oh, yeah!" I mean, this is just me but I'm left feeling pretty flat and disinterested when some strange object is finally identified as something that I cannot figure out what it is even AFTER I'm linked to a Wikipedia article about it.

It's as if the game were about showing pictures of people when they were kids and challenge us to guess who they actually are, and it started out with pictures of Sandra Bullock as a 10-year-old and then devolved to the point where you were trying to identify a picture of my Grandmother as a baby...

I do like the idea of the "Liars Club" though :-)

It's funny, because I enjoy the more esoteric/specialized ones most... I guess because it's fun to see something I've never seen before.

Well, diff'rent strokes and all... But there have been a number of posts to this thread asking why it was dying out, and this was my take on it.

I don't think the delays are thatr big an issue... I mean, an image a day's be fine with me. It's just that nobody but a hardcore group's even TRYING to guess...

I try, but remain silent for fear of seeming ignorant.

Wait... If I don't know then I am ignorant so there should be no shame in admitting that... Right?s
