I took this a few days ago, and would have submited it if the blue challenge wasannounced then

I try and ask myself when I am going to submit a shot, what is it that I find of interest with this shot. So, just curious what do you find of interest with it? What do you think others will find of interest with it?

I think that's a really cute shot. I'm way too emotional, so photographs usually spark lots of emotion within me. Your photograph makes me think of little kids building sand castles on the beach, and it reminds me of when I built sand castles as a little kid. Like I said, I'm way too cheesey/emotional, but you would've gotten a high vote from me.

I'm assuming that you want some feedback on this.

While it is blue and would meet the challenge and is technically executed well, it's just not very interesting visually. The subject is dead center, which works in some cases, but definitely not here. If there was a child's hand on it, or the shot was MUCH wider, showing an empty beach, with this obviously left behind, that might help, but this is just, well, blah.
