| I don't usually enter challenges with Basic Editing as I got DQ'd before for not fully understanding the rules. I am not clear on this either - is there any problem with a Horizontal Flip in Basic? |

As long as its for the entire image, both horizontal and vertical flips are OK in Basic.

i would assume that included in "flip" is also rotations, whether it be 90° a pop or some other value, again applied to the whole image.
