How many of you have used their 'color correction' feature? Is it worthwhile doing so?

I have my monitor calibrated on a regular basis, I like the colors I see on my photos, so I wanted to know if I should use this feature or not?

The best thing you could do is print a few of the photos out, and then match the output colors to that of your monitor. That way you are calibrated to their printing process.

Hoping to get a reply soon, as I'm about to send my order in, to Mpix.

Thanks Richard, I didn't see your post till I'd sent my last one. I can't use my printer for now as my husband ordered cheaper substitute ink (after I'd told him I wanted Epsom ink), the colours have been off since.

I ended up ordering a test batch of the smaller prints with color cornection, to see how they turn out before doing the final order. Probably the safest thing for me to do now

Do not use the smaller prints to calibrate your monitor to their process cause then you will have to use the correction process all the time. I meant work with an uncorrected print to calibrate your equipment that way you didnt need to use it.

Hmmm, ok point taken. I can always get some other 'uncorrected' prints ordered to compare? That way I should be able to tell what to do. I really need a new printer for Xmas :-)
