silver [its so hard to photograph]

do suggestions ever get used?

Almost all challenges originate as user suggestions like this. It sometimes takes a long time because there's a big pool of topics already in the queue; we periodically gather up all these suggestions and put them in one big list for ourselves.
It would help if you'd try to write up the "complete" challenge title and description just the way you'd like to see it posted. That way there's less chance of one of us misinterpreting your intent, and less room for argument about what it "really" means. : ) |

Lesley, you were the one who suggested Everyday Objects back in April! =]
See my reply in this thread; most challenges are user-suggested. The challenge database is full of quite a few ideas, so it may be a while between when a challenge is suggested and when it gets used, if the admins decide to schedule it. There are probably some challenges that they feel wouldn't be "all that great", so they don't get used.
In addition, a challenge is more likely to get added to the challenge database if when it is suggested, it has well thought out, carefully worded "details" to go along with it.

I think Beads would be fun, so I'll help with that part.

hey how about that!! i guess i have suggested so many forgot about
that one. how come i'm doing so badly then? lol
beads.............. of perspiration
bead ..... droplets of water on a leaf [seen that one before]
anything that is round and bead shaped.... including glass beads.
[i have a very good artist friend named lesley frazier, what a
coincidence!!]
