I would really like a setup that would allow me to take relatively short-interval timelapse series, like every 2 to 10 seconds, over a long-ish period of time, like 5 to 10 hours. I guess I'm looking at between 3600 to 18000 exposures. 18000 I imagine is out of the question, but 3600 might be achievable.
I'm wondering if there is any sort of setup that has the battery power to sustain something like this? It will need to be somewhat compact and light, as it would be mounted on my person. I pondered something like the GoPro, but it doesn't sound like it has nearly the power to get that far. My other thought is my iPhone 4S but I haven't tested it yet, I might leave it on tonight and see how long it can go for. I know there are extra battery packs for both those things which may be another option.
Anyone out there used or heard of anything that would be built more for this purpose?

I'm not sure about wearing it but I have one of these and it's very easy to "Set it and forget it".
