You can talk about how shitty the Saints have been in the past, or the Superbowls they've lost or whatever, but there's not a team in the NFL with the history of suckage that the Detroit Lions have. They haven't won a playoff game since 1957, they've never been to a superbowl and they're the ONLY team in NFL history to have lost EVERY single game in a season...The Saints might have sucked at some points in their past, but compared to the Lions...they're nothing.
Given the history of pure suckiness, the fact that the Lions have won more games this season than they've lost is roughly the equivalent of winning the Superbowl...even if they lose |

The Lions have gone from 0-16 to 2-14 to 6-10 to 7-5 today. If things continue the way they have been, they will be 16-0 in two or three more years! That's just simple math. |

A few corrections here--The Lions beat the Cowboys in the 1991 divisional playoffs. I remember this because as a Cowboys fan, it was their first time in a long time to get to the playoffs. Also, while the Lions are the only team to go 0-16, the 1976 Bucs lost every regular season game, although there were only 14 games in a season back then. |

Regardless, no team in the NFL has taken suckiness to the same level as De-toilet. With the exception of a few bright seasons in the 1950's their performance has been dismal. |
