Just bought an Epson R800, and I'm impressed with the print quality. It's my first 'photo printer', and i'm not sure if i need to configure/tweak anything else to get the most out of the printer.
On screen, the images look really good. Bright, colours are great, etc... However, my prints aren't all that vibrant, and I was wondering what can be done to adjust that.

Am I thinking correctly with colour profiles? I don't want to fork out more cash for a monitor calibrator.
