Considering there's never BEEN a lynard skynard, they are definitely out. Even Lynyrd Skynyrd won't qualify, I daresay :-)

I hope the voters will be open-minded......back in the day, what a guy like Hendrix could do with making a guitar scream has never been duplicated.
THAT fits into my working definition. Can't listen to Zeppelin's Communication Breakdown at an 80+ db level without considering that VERY heavy!
I have my shot in mind, I love the idea, and I just know it'll get busted for not being heavy metal.
F*ck it, I'm gonna roll with it! LOL!!!

Not very familiar with "heavy metal", but if Led Zeppelin is ok then there's still hope for me to get something entered :) Thanks for the note! |
Well seeing that Led Zep is considered to be the godfather of metal, you should be in the clear...and if you send me a plane ticket within the next 24 hours, if you need a Robert Plant, then I'm your (wo)man!!! Genderf**k...what a wonderful thing ;-) |

Perfect. You just doubled the size of the list. |

I made a halfhearted effort to clean this list up -- or rather make a list from it. The data is "dirty" -- lots of misspellings and duplicates, but hopefully it's a bit more readable.

i personally would not class the zep as metal.....in the modern meaning of the word even though in their day they were metal/rock i think there will be a lot of shoe horn type images in this aslong as it isnt abba then think you'll be ok lol.
