Good on him for searching out the owner. I'm sure that the owner appreciated the effort in returning the data! The camera was found off a pier, but still amazing that it was found at all.
There was another story earlier this year about a camera dropped off a pier in CA *four years ago* that had 104 pics recovered. Also another maybe a year ago about a P&S camera dredged up in a net in the open ocean, and that one too had a readable card, and the owners were also found. Seems more than a few folks lose cameras in the ocean, LOL!

My sister-in-law lost her camera in the ocean when she was on vacation in the Dominican Republic. So if anyone ever finds it, please let her know. LOL |
