Thinking about this for a print,
the detail in the large version is stunning,
any comments ?

PeeCee, I am on a very poor monitor at work right now (and I do not vote from here!), so take this with a grain of salt! The colors are nice, and I can see the potential for a lot of great detail, but compared to the images in your OUTSTANDING portfolio, I think this one is weaker. It doesn't have the "interest" factor as strongly and is "busier". Just an opinion so you can have some kind of feedback for your decision.

Thanks Kyle,
I may post a slightly larger version on Pbase, I admit it doesn't "shine out" at 640 pixels.

The photo is perfectly done, it looks great and nothing about it that isn't great photography unless I think it's really boring. (Of course just IMHO )

Much nicer. I still think you have so much more work that shines so much brighter. I hope you take that as the compliment that it is meant as.

Just tryin to increase my print portfolio, trouble is I am a sucker for landscapes etc. probably why I have only sold one print :)
The shot I posted was one I took today, I was bored with the surrounding area and took a few different shots and picked this one out for the treatment.
I got a pretty good macro today, shh I can't talk about it.
Thanks Kyle, and I always listen to your comments, complimentary or otherwise they are valuable sources of feedback, that is what we are all here for,
Ta, to you and Oskar,
Paul.

I am a sucker for anything with color and landscapes, too, so don't feel alone!!! Hope we were of help.
