Maybe it's me but I can't seem to take a clear picture with this camera. I just need to take a picture of the back of my computer to send to a friend. I set the camera on auto, on a set of books (can't find my tripod but just as good) and it comes out blurry. WTH.

Any comments will gladly be taken.

Here is the picture

Could the reflective surfaces on the computer be confusing the autofocus? How about trying from an angle?

If it is like my 602, set it on one of the macro settings, you are probably getting too close for a normal pic, check your manual for distances. Another thing could be the lighting and the auto focus.

Just checked the pic, probably too close on the present setting.

Very doubtful, mine is ok in these situations.

Not an idiot, we have all done it, just part of the learning curve.

Only today I took half a dozen shots with the auto focus set on manual,
luckily I could reshoot :)
