| Nothing can replace the original Polaroid cameras with their unique "films"! |

Not the same thing; the Fujis are FILM cameras. The Polaroid is a portable, digital printing device. You get to keep a digital file, AND you get the instant print. Plus, you can do various sorts of "processing" to the image before outputting it.

Yeah, a slight difference that I ignored!
Reminds of the Leica M going digital. I think it will be a fun family event style camera. I hope the lens sucks in a wonderful way. |

| Though it is interesting in its own right, it's just not the same. |

| Polaroid is missing the boat. Why not make an instant "print to internet" camera instead? |

call it a "pofo", give it a keypad, and let it also make phone calls, maintain an address book, play angry birds, etc... :D |

"The $300 unit does more than just make 3-by-4-inch prints on demand; you can also edit and frame the images before printing, or you can shut the printer off and use it as a standard digital camera."
Well this just takes all the fun out of it! Sorry Polaroid, but I'd much rather save $280 and buy one of your old cameras from e-bay. |
