I tried sending a direct link to my picture in a pm but it didn't work I know their is a trick and its something simple but copying the entire url doesnt work for me. Where can I get some info.....its been so long since I been here I forgot how to do simple things like this....bummer :(

When you make a post, see those little icon thingy's over top? Copy the image number from the url on your image, click the little button that says insert thumbnail when you hover over it, paste or type the number in the popup box. Easy peasy!

Thanks Kelli and I tried that and all I got was this.

you did insert image rather than thumbnail to image on this site, so two buttons to the right is what you need( second to last button) then paste your image id in.

you've got [code][/code]

rather than

[code]/code]

you'd use the image one if you were inserting an image from say flickr or a personal website

oops i guess [code] tags dont work on this forum

You're missing the 9 in front of the number, plus your clicking the wrong icon...

Hit quote on my post and your see the code difference.

got it now thanks I knew it was easy and it was something I was doing wrong. I had the 9 in the one that didnt work out but it was the full url instead of the image number. Thanks the both of you.
