Just reinstalled windows due to some issues I've been having. When I installed lightroom, I imported my catalog, I keep the photos on a separate hard drive and everything seemed fine. But today when I went to import this mornings pics from my CF card it wanted to import a lot of older pics even with the don't import duplicates checked. Thought maybe they didn't get copied when I imported my catalog and didn't want them to show up every time I inserted my CF card so I imported them. Still learning how this software works. So now I have about 300-400 pictures that have been named xxx-2.

Not sure why lightroom didn't detect them as duplicates but I'd like to be able to delete them all. Is there a way in lightroom to do this? I'd also like for lightroom to not think they're new pictures every time I do an import. My CF card is currently my backup drive so I don't want to delete the pics off of it.
