The marketing people know exactly who they are appealing to. Interesting how that character started out as a bit of a spoof on the apple "I'm a Mac" ads, but has become the face of the company without need for the spoof. I'm sure it's because she's hot.

I almost bought a T-Mobile phone just because of the photo in the store window and we already have contracts on Sprint and Verizon in our house.

Well yeah, think about it. They had Catherine Zeta-Jones that was/is hot, and now they have a girl that looks like a younger version of her with a dash of Liv Tyler thrown in for good measure. That's a recipe guaranteed to work. ;)

Which one? The current T-Mobile girl is not as hot as the original. They made the switch about 5 months ago and nobody seems to notice. I did because, although most can't tell the difference, the original looked exactly like my sister-in-law except the my sister-in-law has blond hair. |
