Need comments? An obvioous error draws them. I got 5 and a terrible score.
19/10/2011 Now sitting at 9 comments and still a terrible score on what I thought was a good photo but I was in the bundus and not able to edit much. Also did not see the obvious or maybe subconsciously did not think it would matter, or maybe I hoped it would not matter. Any case, to me it is a very special photograph.

What you can do, is give away some comments yourself!!!!
When I find myself wanting more comments thats is what I do. I don't know if its Karma or if commenting inspires others to give commenting a try, but I find that I actually tend to get comments more if I have commented a bit. And if not, at least I have spread the love, rather than just wanting comments and never giving any of my own. |

Jeez, Brian...I had no idea the voters were being THAT harsh in these two challenges! WOW! They were less than generous for sure, but that's just nuts! (Like I said...has to be "slap in the face" obvious for most of them to even 'get' it! LOL!)

More later. I am trying to comment on most if not all but not the normal "good shot" or "awesome" comment people normally get. I am trying to really take my time and comment more than just a sentence.

I think that is the main thing to keep in mind in these challenges. Each person views the photos differently and they sometimes don't see what we see in our shots. After getting a number of 4's, I have learned to appreciate anything over 5. (LOL). |
