Answer is probably no, but I thought I would ask since the affect is applied to the entire image rather than to specific elements.
I search the forum first and didn't find an answer.

As far as I know, there's nothing wrong with converting your image to a duotone by any of several methods, so long as no spot editing or selections are made.
Remember to convert back to RGB before saving your final JPEG file.
Typical workflow would be RGB > Grayscale (direct mode change or Channel Mixer first) > Duotone > RGB |
