A month-long PINK challenge in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month during October.

If a separate challenge isn't feasible, lets encourage the use of pink in October Free Study entries.

If a month long PINK challenge isn't feasible, what about a PINK side challenge? Either way, I'd be in.

Great suggestion - I like the idea of a month-long challenge. How about taking it a bit farther and putting the top 12 finishers into a 2012 DPC calendar or produce a DPC BCA book with collages of all the entries? Either one - all profits would go to Breast Cancer Research.

We could just do the free study in pink.

And it can be one of those challenges where everyone gets a ribbon in their profile.

A pink one, of course.

(It's probably the only way most of us will get one)

Can that be organized at this late stage?

I'm hijacking the October free study and will award a Breast Cancer Awareness ribbon to anyone who enters a pink themed image.

Count me in. This one is very personal to me which I am sure is personal to a lot of people. I lost my mother (my best friend) in August 2011. She fought cancer for 15 years. This is a wonderful tribute you have all started for all who are fighting this horrible disease. Looking forward to seeing PINK!

I'm in! I'd really like to see it as a side challenge for the full month and everytime someone puts in a picture they can make a donation to their local cancer charity. $1.00, $2.00, $10.00- whatever you can afford.

Fantastic idea! And I'm in too. Who's going to start it up? (And we can still put something pink in the Free Study.)

Okay, not all month long, but a week will do.

I started a side-challenge on Breast Cancer Awareness - Pink for October. Now that we have an official challenge, should I drop it?

See my note in the other thread: I suggest you suspend it until the voting is concluded on this one, then start it up again -- you'll have all the out-takes available too ...
