Hey, I don't know which one is yours Kelli, but I like it...so that's two people at least. ;)

Dave

Aawww! Thanks Dave! Now I feel better. ;D

Some really "nice" people out there.
At vote 14 I was at 5,7857. 14 votes later 5,2143 is what left.
At least there was 1 voter which took the time to leave a comment.

The comment is disturbing, not because it is bad, but because it indicates a misunderstanding, that other viewers might also have. I'm glad the commenter took the time to let me know.

slow, "bad" voting today. down from ~6 to mid-5's boo-hoo... hoped to keep beating my average, but maybe not this time. ;(

Must be an interesting explanation based on the geographical spread of the voters (I imagine) that my score dropped steadily one whole point from the first 15 enthusiastic votes to the next 15 ones, at least in my case.
Waiting now for the comments and next batch of voters from the same time zone.

Somebody plug the sink...it's starting to drain my score. Down from a high of 6.

Glad to see that I'm not circling the drain by myself. Started off strong 7s, then mid 6, and it was downhill from there... now 5.6.

The worst part is, I wasn't even surprised when I had a 7+ with 10 votes, because I think my image is awesome. :o(

I'll try to win the brown this time! I never thought I could!

I'm sure it is still awesome. Just because it's sitting at 5.6 now doesn't mean it's not deserving of a higher score. :)

Looks like I have competition! Don't assume you've won just yet, I'm sure my image is much worse than yours =).

Doing worse that I expected, MUCH worse than I hoped.

I feel that I might be getting punished by voters b/c they THINK it's "recognizable as an object" therefore "it is not an abstract"... according to the challenge description. Now, I have an issue with the concept that abstract has to be unrecognisable, but that aside, I'd hope that if voters are voting images down b/c they THINK they know what it is, they'd leave a comment to that effect, and perhaps while at it, comment on the quality of the photo aside from the fact that they THINK they know what it is.

Well, I also feel that an object can be recognizable and still be seen in very abstract way. I totally disagree with that part of the challenge description, and will not vote anything down that is obvious.

Some of my comments are to the effect of:

"I don't think I will be voting because of "If it is recognizable as an object - it is not an abstract" which I don't entirely agree with..."

The only comment lists all objects that CAN BE recognized in the image if you really try. I obviously have forgotten how eager some DPCers are to plant DNMCs.

How do you self DQ your image? I want to pull it out. While it is not great it is definitely a 5.5+ image.

Select Help menu and then "Contact" us. Send a message using the General Inquiry option, and include the challenge and photo ID# in your DQ request.

DNMC police, good luck trying to 'recognize' my photo/object of my photo. You don't know!

I am about done watching this BS Challenge, the voting isn't making any sense to me..I have dropped down to an also ran level after having a Mid-6 score...and the funny thing is I thought I had at least a 6 with this photo...but when you receive an 8 followed by a 4...followed by a 7...then a 3....a 9 followed by a 2...you can't win...as far as rating photos on an internet site that sucks,I think the WPL again is causing a lowering of the vote due to competition, and it's a shame voters can't vote fairly.

And.. I think this type of voting will put to rest why there is no DPL on DPC

edited because I had more to say..

I'll take guess on what the masses will say about your post:

"It doesn't matter because ALL the scores are being affected in the same manner".
