| Is there a Nikon body that would fit my current lenses and my SB800 speedlite and would be an upgrade from my D70 and cost around $500-$600? I would like to upgrade but can't really go all out. Really can't afford the $500-$600 right now either but figured I'd start doing some research on it. |

I still have my D90 body after buying my D700. I thought about holding on to it for a spare when taking money for my photos...which is rare. I'm not sure when the D800 is coming out but I'll surely sell the D90 to help purchase it when that day comes.
The D90 is a huge step up from the D70 IMO. My buddy at work recently got one off ebay. It was a big upgrade from his D40 or was it a D60?
If I decide to sell the D90, you'll be the first to know.

Second the D90 suggestion.
You can get a refurbed for a bit over 600, or you could get used.
Though the ISO might be improved on the lower lines that are current, your controls are not going to be the same and you'll overall lose some control features. |
