Rats - I was gonna watch Ringer and forgot all about it. Maybe next week? Will I need to read up on it or can I simply pick up where they left off?

Glee starts back up next week. Yay!

Poor, desperate but good-hearted sister thinks evil rich sister killed herself, so she takes her place to hide from the mob. Rich sister is actually hiding in Europe somewhere hatching evil schemes that we don't know yet. That should handle it.

Gilligan's Island - 1962 - 10. Still can't get the theme song out of my head. "... 3 hour tour."

Thanks, Don. I figured it was something along those lines. But does she have Scoobies? That's the important question!

4pointbutnotforlongguy, that's one I want to watch. Hopefully it'll be a Netflix kinda thing at some point. Or I'll have to get the DVDs. First, though, I understand I probably should read the books?

Louie
9/10

Only for those who enjoy dark humor. If you like Louis CK you'll likely enjoy the show.

The Inbetweeners

Outstanding comedy, utterly outrageous, utterly truthful.

Not for the feint of heart or those of a prudish disposition, but if you like boundary pushing comedy - this is a must.

British DPCers will already be familiar with it - has it shown elsewhere?

The Big C
9/10

Funny,sad,funny,sad,funny,sad.

A roller coaster of emotion in a brilliantly written series about a woman and her humorous approach toward her life threatening illness.

Having missed it on tv I recently finished watching The Sopranos - brilliant series - 10/10

Same with Deadwood I am now on series 3 - another brilliant series 10/10 -

Paul - When I was in Taba, Egypt in Jan 2010 and The Inbetweeners was being shown on a middle east channel in English with Arabic subtitles!
Dont know how that translated! If you think that was crude you should watch Deadwood - that makes the Inbetweeners look very tame.

Boardwalk Empire - 10/10 - outstanding series

Game of Thrones - 8/10

The Borgias - 8/10

I canceled my cable because I wasn't watching anything. I never had time. I still don't have time for TV, but I'm not paying $100/mo for stuff I don't use.

Honestly, I don't know how people work, keep a home/family in order and still have time to spend hours watching TV.

The only two shows I watch are Game of Thrones and Dexter. Both series are highly worthy. In fact, Dextober is coming up!!! I am salivating already.

ditto, been over two years now.

i watched falling skies over the summer, that's pretty much all i watched, besides some movis. Big bang and the office start up soon, but i record them them and watch a bunch of episodes at once, i work full time, this semester i am taking two classes and when im not doing that I am playing with my kids and what time I have left over is spent with photoshop and my pictures. i have PLENTY of time to do eveything, now that tv is out of the picture. one of the best decisions of my life.

Up All Night (pilot). 6/10

better than I thought it would be. Will Arnett and Christina Applegate and Maya Rudolph are all acting well. The writing is only occasionally contrived. Premise is soooo bad, though. A comedy about how hard it is to raise a baby? yuck.

Deb, don't you dare talk about SMG that way. She is always Buffy to me.

Outstanding show. The level of nuance is off the charts. Two thumbs up!
