...you may want to wait a little while. See here. These pricing changes tend to propagate very quickly through the market, so I would expect to see lower prices at retail perhaps as soon as a couple months form now. I had almost pulled the trigger on an additional 8GB to supplement my current 8GB, but I think I will wait a little :-)

| As a matter of fact, I was considering upgrading and briefly discussed it with the guy who maintains my computer and laptop. Thanks for the heads up. |

Even if it may go down some, ram is still pretty cheap right now.

It is, but they are talking about potential for a 33% or greater drop over the next quarter. How much of that will be reflected in the retail price is of course a separate question. Could be less, could be even more, depending on demand.

| Too late. Just upgraded (from 3 to 6GB, can't have more than 8, unless buying a complete new computer). |
