...you may want to wait a little while. See here. These pricing changes tend to propagate very quickly through the market, so I would expect to see lower prices at retail perhaps as soon as a couple months form now. I had almost pulled the trigger on an additional 8GB to supplement my current 8GB, but I think I will wait a little :-)

As a matter of fact, I was considering upgrading and briefly discussed it with the guy who maintains my computer and laptop. Thanks for the heads up.

Even if it may go down some, ram is still pretty cheap right now.

It is, but they are talking about potential for a 33% or greater drop over the next quarter. How much of that will be reflected in the retail price is of course a separate question. Could be less, could be even more, depending on demand.

Too late. Just upgraded (from 3 to 6GB, can't have more than 8, unless buying a complete new computer).
