So my husband  glockguy has been on DPC for about a year and a half and is always showing me the amazing photos on this site. After taking a full day photo workshop this weekend I think I am finally ready to try it out myself. I'm not very technologically inclined so I'm not sure how the photo editing part will go. However, I have enjoyed photography since getting my first camera at age 10 and I like to think I have a good eye and bit of artistic talent. My husband and I have challenged each other to post in 2 challenges a month as well as the free study. I'm especially interested in nature photography. I have a ton to learn but am excited about the challenge! |

Welcome...So your husband is Glockguy and you are ABMayflower...that's quite a contrast ! Let's see if the photos turn out as such !
Welcome and don't be afraid to enter you photos in the challenges. I've been here since 2005 and my current entry is holding at a low 4.6....but that's how it goes. I enter what I like and let the chips fall ...oh well...you'll understand in a few weeks !

My first entry in the challenges got shot down big time, the next entry, they send a gang of thugs over and broke my shutter button finger, so be careful what you post.
Dive in, have a good time, meet lots of interesting people, and learn much.

| Welcome. You came at a very busy time. We've got a beat your own average side challenge, and a WPL going with people scheming and plotting to beat each other (photographically) each week. So if it seems a bit frenzied... it is :-) |
