Shot this:  Cropped rotated, basic edit and entered this: 
I didn't expect it to do as well as it did. I liked that it looked like an album cover from the late 60's or early 70's.

These were the others I was considering, at a couple of hours after I should have gone to bed when I suddenly realised that the end of the month had crept up unnanounced yet again...I wonder if any of them would have faired better.

This is probably the most exciting capture I've ever gotten! We were on vacation and stopped at a wildlife refuge outside of atlantic city. There were swallows flying all around, and this one little swallow sitting on a stick.
The lighting was so wonderful, and the background was so beautifully blurred, I spent awhile shooting him:
While I was watching him, other swallows were flying by, and all of the sudden, he started moving around:
and as I watched (and shot), in comes the mom with a huge dragonfly! I didn't have my ISO turned up high enough, so the shots aren't perfect, but it was terribly exciting!!
