I've been looking at the black rapid strap for some time and I liked it but I was concerned the shoulder pad wouldn't be as comfortable as my OpTech Classic Strap... Plus I didn't like how I was restricted to only having the strap over my left shoulder so the camera hung on my right side.
So I bought some parts:
Optech System Connector for Sling Strap (9.95)
Black Rapid ConnectR-2 (12.50)
Black Rapid FastenR-3 (13.95)
Assembled them...
And viola! I have my own sling-style strap that works over either shoulder and has the comfort of the optech neoprene straps.
I also bought Black Rapid FastenR-T1 for Manfrotto 200PL-14 QR Plate because I am using some long lenses and keep this plate attached to the lens mount.
At first glance, it doesn't seem like the BR ConnectR-2 will fit over the clip on the optech connector but if you squeeze it a little, it's easy to slide it on the strap.
Oh, and I've NEVER had an issue with the Optech clips coming undone without warning but because I am using some expensive glass with a new 7D, I secured the clips with some of these velcro reusable straps.
I left the 2 clips on the optech system connector and just clipped them together. You can use them as a "stay" for your camera so the camera won't slide anywhere while not shooting.
Just thought I'd share... Did I save a lot of money? Not really but I love my new sling-style strap!!

I wanted to see it too, I have a black Rapid strap and love it, however if she made one just like it I'd be worried about posting photos too since they have a patent on the design.

The patent doesn't prevent her from doing whatever she wants with the design other than selling it, so no worries about posting pics on something that she isn't selling.
edit for clarification
