I'm trying to break into studio photography, mainly nudes and clothes modeling. I'm working with a 420EX and white cards now.
I was looking at the Bosh Eclipse Plus Umbrella in 45" or 60" sizes. Are these decent for what I'm trying to achieve?

Hi wwwavenger,
I always used softboxes. The umbrella will give good results for half body shots. But if you want good results try two umbrellas. One silver and one white stacked. This will give full body coverage. With nudes unless it's basic art(half poses, side shots ..ect).You want details. The silver umbrella adds a hint of specularity and the white maintains overall softness. I usally bounce light and add two umbrellas for my best exposure.
