So, I just picked up a Canon S95 - so cool to be able to stuff so much camera in my pocket. :)

So much so that I may just stop using the DSLR's for a while.

I thought you already had one of those? Or did that get left with the ex?

At any rate, you'll enjoy having that much camera in your pocket. A lot of my recent challenge entries have been with the similar G11, because it is there with me when a photo op presents itself.

Had the S90, did leave it with the ex. S95 seems to be a major upgrade from the S90.

ETA: She may own the camera, but I still "own" the camera. :)

Ohh, I like this thing. It was really nice to go out for a morning ride and not have to choose between riding without kit or getting pictures. :)

I think I'm going to really enjoy this. Notice the cruise ship is shot at ISO 800.. The passed out guy is at ISO 400.. Both looked good out of camera, and just a hit of denoise and they were great!

Great shots for a P&S...incredible journalistic shot too! I just did the same thing, but I opted for the LX5. Same thing...I wanted something to put in my bike bag still small but better than the TZ3 I'd been using. I'm not sure the Lx5 does as well at high ISO as your seeing, but it's very sharp! Here's a full size sample from my recent vacation...in our cabin...

The reviews say that there is VERY little difference. Mostly your lens is a little wider, and your lens stays faster at higher magnification, the S95 does a little better at 800ISO and above, and the S95 is smaller.

That's about it. They're both excellent from what I could discern, and your picture would seem to indicate the same.
