A little about me ... I've been taking pictures since I was 10. Most of my early work is good enough to grace the inside of a shoe box. (I'd like to say thanks to my mom & dad who supported my addiction and paid for roll after roll of film to be developed! :) )
Seven years ago I bought a D80. My shots got better (a few even grace my walls) but I never really learned what the D80 could do. It was auto mode all the way. Two years ago I started attending photo workshops and made it a priority to learn the magic of the camera. I've made progress in the last few years and intend to keep learning. For example, my D7000 is never in auto mode. Constructive criticism (and compliments) are very welcome. I have seen some INCREDIBLE work on this site and I aspire to similar greatness. ;)
I've only been a member a couple weeks and I am SO addicted to the site. Laissez les bons temps rouler (Let the good times roll)!

LOL! I have definitely made the acquaintance of the update button. I'll have to draw the line at software that tells me what votes are coming in though. I may spontaneously combust. |
