Sorry--a bit frazzled. Burglarized today, and they got every digital camera and lens in my kit, light meter, radio triggers, speedlights, etc etc. I have insurance, and the Find My Ipad feature showed me and therefore the cops right where the ipad was this evening (happens to be in the area of a guy they have been trying to nab for some time--if the house matches his address, or one of his family, they think they may have enough to go get his ass). But, doesn't mean I will get any of the gear back, naturally.

I had just seen something somewhere online this week about an online tool or site that help locate images taken with a specific camera via exif data, something like that. I can't think of where I saw it, can't seem to order my mind well enough right now to figure it out. If someone here saw that same thing, a link would be greatly appreciated. With all my camera now out in the wild, I am hoping images from one or more of them will surface sometime soon.

Thanks in advance.

Just thought I would test this to see how it works.. alas Sont camera's are not supported as they don't record a serial number within the EXIF :-(

Gah! That sucks, chromey. I hope you nail him! Was it your car or your home?

Yeah, sorry to hear this. Best of luck with the search and retrieval, Chromey.

That's terrible - sounds like he stole a load of stuff. I know what it's like to be burgled, as I've had both my house and (a few weeks ago) my car done.

In fact, the guy who did my car was caught by the neighbours and beaten up restrained until the police arrived - Most satisfying.

Good luck with getting the stuff back.

And Art, when I saw you posted, I was expecting at least a godzilla blasting a burglar - I'm disappointed.
