Apparently Thomas has no problem with hard copies either, help yourself.
Makes me feel like going out and trying some intense street stuff myself now.

Wow - no kidding. He goes against most of the advice I see on Street Photography - just hit & run without a word. Quite effective. |

Haven't read the e-books yet but his pictures / slide-shows are pretty good.
Looking forward to reading when I have the time. |

Just flicked thru the first of the 2 ebooks and checked out a couple of his videos. Interesting stuff. I started a thread a while back regarding candid versus covert approaches to street photography. Clearly there's nothing covert about this guy's style, but by the same token I'm not entirely sure it fits my definition of candid either. Clearly a lot of people see him coming and what he is actually capturing is their reaction to him taking their photo. Whatever you call his style, there's no denying that he captures some great images.
I might share his penchant for using short primes out on the street, but I don't think I'll ever have the balls to emulate his technique! |

I thought that was mandatory for all you M9 users Marac? Thomas makes some interesting observations about the M9 too. :) |

The M9 is actually a pretty good portrait camera too, I don't shoot street stuff (yet) but love that Leica mood in my portrait work. I doubt my balls will ever be big enough to 'copy' his 'style' but street portraiture with consent is definitely an option.

Thanks for the links, both books look pretty interesting, I'll have a flick through them later. Not sure his method of shooting is for me though, a bit too creepy =). |
