I've come accross someone that want's to sell this lens, date code says it was made in 2000 so I don't think it is the second version. I can't seem to find any reviews of the older version although when reading about version II it sounds like the image circle is large, wondering about CA coatings in the older version.

Anyway I'm trying to figure out a value, or for that matter is is it a lens I want. My gut tells me it might be a good deal at $600- thoughts?

Anybody used one of these? Thanks for the help
