So, I can't figure out how to open an image from my hard drive to edit in Lightroom 3. Either I'm completely incompetent, or...
Either way, can anyone direct me towards some decent tutorials? I'm formally trained in Photoshop...but this is a whole new world.

At its core, Lr is a "library maanagement" application, so you don't really "open," you "import." In order to import photos that are already on your hard drive, just select File>Import Photos from the main menu, and point it at the folder where the file(s) are that you want to import. Once you import your files, go to the "Develop" tab and make your adjustments.

Hahahahaha. Wow.
Thank you. =) It worked. I had tried clicking on import, but it kept taking me to my SD card and I was so confused. |
