In case this is useful to anyone.... I got in and built a geographic hierarchy. Now it's NOT going to be complete and it's mostly built from places I have been and other places that I know exist ok but some places - especially the us - are not really my geographic strong point... cause I don't have one - I failed geography in high school due to boredom...

* 5 levels: continent -< country -< region/state/county/province/whatever -< city -< suburb
* The higher 3 levels have a tag on the end (to avoid duplication and to make entry easier)
* all lower case
* No spaces in names and delimited by dash
* Formatted so it can import to lightroom
* It is what it is... I might have cocked up any number of places :-) but anything you spot could you post back so I can fix mine :-) If it blows up your catalog then look in the mirror for who is at fault :-)
