Found this on youtube... It's about an hour long, but is an interesting discussion of research into how we perceive color.
Seems like it would be worth knowing for most any photog.

And it was so cool....
Okay... well... watch for it on BBC? It basically talks about how our sense of color is totally related to the situation. Meaning, our sense of color is relative and also influenced by various neurologic characteristics. It's really worth watching.
