I just bought a Rebel X(s), and was curious if I could use the EF-500 DG Super flash on the non-DSLR?

I've already learned the Kit lens off the 300D will not work on non-DSLRs. Take my word for it!

The 300D kit lens WILL NOT work with ANY other camera. Do not attempt this as it will break the lens and possibly the camera. It is such a shame, since lenses that wide cost a fortune.
