Anybody know if vignettes are allowed in advanced editing?

Just don't be so heavy handed that you "create a new area" or obscure the background to the point of removing objects. |

You may NOT - use ANY editing technique to create new image area, objects or features (such as lens flare or motion) that didn’t already exist in your original capture(s).
wouldn't this disallow a vignette? I thought vignettes were illegal in advanced editing... |

Nope, they are allowed. It is possible to remove stuff completely using a vignette, and that might get you DQ'd but in general, for a true vignette of reasonable strength, it's legal. |
