What constitutes getting punched in the face? Apparently not "getting punched in the face."
Meanwhile, this lady gets arrested for hitting a woman in the eyes in the back of her head. |

I think a lot of people react to media coverage. I've been punched by a woman or two and I've never pressed charges and if I had I think any responsible police officer would have done his/her best to defuse the situation and talk me out of wasting their time.
So there.

Assuming that all the facts are true, then the complainant would be justified in making a complaint to the provincial legislature as this is seemingly a case of nonfeasance at its' best.
Let us hope that the victim has the identification of the assaulter, the police officers and all of the witnesses.
Best of luck with that one though...seems no one wants to deal with minority groups.

Just a note here - the writer is a well known anti-Muslim blogger apparently... Read the comments below the post from this guy. |

And doesn't anyone else find the lack of posted photos there a little bit funny? That's the first thing I'd do is post photos of the whole damn thing. |

Did you have to call her a Muslim woman. "Would I was hit by a woman had been enough?"

Have you read all the posts of his blog to make this statement, or just relying on one post of an unknown commenter?

Not really... the issue at hand seemingly is based on religious matters. The woman claimed that her religion was being "violated" and allegedly punched the victim...therein lies the difference.

A man was hit by a woman in a public place
A photographer was hit by a woman in a public place
A photographer enjoying a day with his child in a public place was hit by a woman.
A Muslim woman wearing burku hit a photographer in a public place while he was with his son enjoying the day.
A gang of Muslims surrounded a photographer and his child after being hit by one of them in the face and the police did not believe his story.

Can we accept the police story for now, we cannot hear her part of the story.
Th police said there were no ground for pressing charges. Why would they lie?

Because its to complicated for cops to deal with political correctness. I was not there, and don't know what the truth is. Nether do you. But my question to you is: why do you have need to defend her? Is it religion? if the title just said "woman"as you suggested, would you care? |

Yes indeed we can believe that... but that is not the issue you brought up. I was merely responding to your initial comment as to why the term Muslim was used.
With regards to the comments you are making here, perhaps it would help if you read my previous comments relative to the police action, or lack thereof.

But don't you agree that" Her religion" is an important part of the story? |

People share 95% and more of the same needs, joys, aspirations, illnesses, pain and feeling.
Religion makes less that 5% of their lives and still people hate and kill each other for that small part.
I hate bringing up religious subjects to say Muslims do that or Christians do that. People start wars and violence for other reasons and they use religion for a cover.

It very well may be... but could he have been harassing her the turned it into a religious issue?
It may well be but what if he was harassing her, could that have been the case. Then turned religious?
Yes I would. I will never never make a ruling without hearing both sides of the story |

It may very well be. But couldn't be that he was harassing her then turned it into a religious issue?

I did not ask you what your religion was... and I did not state mine. See you are making assumptions
