I'm still using PSP X2 as my primary photo editing software, but mostly all I do with it these days is resize images and make JPG's. Even this is painful, as every time I open the app now, I get one or two annoying prompts:
1. A prompt reminding to register my software. I can choose to Continue or Launch the Program, but this comes up once a week or so, it seems. It's a legal copy. I paid for it. Go away.
2. A prompt telling me about PSP X3. No thanks. This comes up almost every time, and my main problem with this is that if I try to right-click and open an image with PSP, this somehow or another confuses the process. Windows throws an error, and the image may or may not open anyway.

There's a dizzying array of preferences, and I'm not finding what I'm looking for.

I'm using Windows 7. I think (hope) that if I can dismiss these prompts forever, the software might work more efficiently.

Thanks.

Have a look in Help-->Message Preferences. It took me a bit to find it, I was also doing the logical thing and looking in the main preferences panel for about 5 minutes.

I think my home copy is registered with Corel, so I don't get that nag message about X3, but I do see it occasionally on my installation at work. Not sure if that can be turned off or not.

Thank you, Steve! That did the trick. Right-click to open works now.

In other news, I ordered Lightroom 3 yesterday...
