And make a bootable android sd card for my nook color. Going this route so I don't over write anything on the nook itself. Wish me look!

Let me know how well it works. The nook is just one step shy of a full fledged tablet.

I've done this a few times now on a couple of different nooks, works like a charm, what's neat is that you can boot from the SD Card without moving the image to the boot memory. Then if you like it you can just push it onto the device for good. (much faster too!) |

Well it was a success. And having the option to choose which way to boot the nook makes it even better. Cory, which version did you use?
Steve I think this works just as good if not better than my friends tablet he got from t-mobile

It's worth thinking about. Not sure I have a lot of use for a tablet right now, though. Might be cool if there were some way of viewing RAW files from a CF card on it.

If I traveled by plane a lot, or commuted by train or bus, I could see a tablet being very handy. As it is, my netbook is a better fit for what I need, since it is a full fledged Win7 computer.

Pure awesomeness. :) I did have some issues with the marketplace, but eventually resolved it... Not that I recall what the hell it was... |
