Hello to all of you.
After nearly a year without touching my camera, I'm preparing myself to come back.
We've moved into our house and most of the rooms have been arranged. The last room which needed to be arranged was my darkroom/studio/office. My space is a lot smaller than what I used to have before, so choices had to be made and for now I decided not to photograph people in studio anymore.
I started participating in the voting rounds and keep an eye on the challenge subjects. So soon, I'll be completely back among you :) |

Well, it's good to be back.
I've missed "the madhouse" like hell you know.
Missed the challenges, the head breaking "how the hell am I going to fill in thà t challenge" moments, the swearing when a shot didn't work out etc.
But most of all I missed you guys and girls: Bear, kind as always - yo, Yo_Spiff :) how are you doing.
Glad to see that most of the players like  ja-9, vawendy, KarenNfld,  Melethia,...are still around.
Now I know I have forgotten a lot of other users here above and I do hope I won't get flamed for this.
I'll stumble in to everyone very soon and am anxious to pick up my learning curve or start all over again from zero :D

Welcome back. It's like riding a bike...you don't really forget, but might need to shake off a slight lack of confidence at first! |

Dave, my friend - glad to see you :)
Things all happened so fast, we tumbled from one situation into another and suddenly the day of the move was there.
There are still a lot of things to do in our home, but the most important was to create a space for my son, daughter and my husband.
Spring was garden time (also very necessary as you can see a small example here). This disaster had to be taken care of since we like spending time outside in summer. Now that this has been taken care of mostly I finally could take some time to create my own little space which was needed to find my way back to DP :)
@ Kat: you've said it with the right words. Feeling a bit rusty, have to shake of the dust and start polishing up again.
@ Janine: we have lift of :)
@ Paul: indeed, seems some things have changed in positive way. |
