I will try again..I don't know where to find the CPU time or the I0 Write Bytes

Click View, Select Column, then make sure the following items are checked:
CPU Time
I/O Write Bytes

then, sort by CPU time by clicking on it so the highest values are on the top. Take a screen shot.
Then, sort by IO writes via the same method.

Hi. The only thing I see suspect is the Carbonite service. Do you have some computer backup program running? I'm not familiar with Carbonite, but from what I'm reading its a backup program. Just throwing this out there, could that be backing up files to the same drive?

I don't think Carbonite could be the problem...Carbonite is a back-up program, but it backs up data on it's own servers.

oh....and thank you so much for looking at the photos and trying to help me...I am really lost with this one. I will have to take the computer somewhere and have it looked at...I can't continue to lose my storage.

Are you sure there isn't a setting somewhere that is creating a temporary file for backing up? I admit, I don't know the software...but, it may be worthwhile to suspend the service for a while and see if the issue goes away.

Also, do you know what files are increasing or created around the time space is lost?
