if after two or three days the little box isn't ticked i occasionally take away my comment, i know its stupid but so am i. |

There are quite a few photos that are very good photos, but with titles that aren't memoiric (if that's a word). And there are some great memoiric titles under poor photos. Vote for the title? i have to agree. there were some stellar photos that were completely devoid of anything approaching a "memoir" (in either the title or the photo), and so i gave them much lower scores. sorry. |
Yep, me, too, but I'm not sorry. Excellent photos with simply descriptive titles are a great fit in a Free Study. The point was to tell a story or share something about yourself with a photo, and the title is the text version of the photo.
That said, to get top marks from me, you need a great title and a great photo. Miss either one and I mark down.
Ok, back on topic ... I'm quite pleased with the comments, and the score's not surprising since this isn't a typically high-scoring shot.

I am kind of peeved at how low this is scoring. I really felt like my image tells a story (much more so than some of the gorgeous images in this challenge that are merely eye candy with a title tacked on). But it is NOT being appreciated, and I don't even have any comments. |

Comments increasing steadily and all saying how much they love it but the score is dropping steadily at the same time.
From 4 comments at 80 votes to 10 comments at 114 votes.
From 6.7 at 80 votes to 6.3 at 114 votes now.
