How about an open challenge that's not only open in subject matter, but open to a photographer's entire experience? This means that the limitation of must-be-taken-that-week would not apply. I know that this is really a different type of challenge altogether, and may not even be a "challenge" (since a challenge gives a parameter for taking a picture, not finding one). However, I think that this would be a great opportunity to see what the site's photographer's consider their best work, and then see how the rest of the site's photographers respond.
