My family and I went to a cemetary in South Dakota and I took a few pictures. I wanted to get another angle so I went to the fence and started up a hill.
I was a bit freaked out and was thinking about all the people buried in the ground and what the people were like, when all the sudden... the sprinkler system come on and went all the way up from my ankles to my head. Thank goodness I was in front of it or it would have soaked my camera. But you talk about being scared. I jumped and ran so fast. Mike(husband) of course was behind me watching the whole thing and laughed so hard he hurt his stomach.

The weird thing was it was rainy and cold and the sprinklers only came on in the area where I was at. Freaky weird! Don't think I will be walking the graveyards at 8:30 at night again.

LOL!

Reminds me of when I was a teen walking thru the town graveyard... My pantleg got caught on piece of pipe sticking about 6 inches out of the ground. My immediate (completely rational) thought was that a hand had shot up out of the grave and I'd been snatched!! Dang near died of heart failure right then and there.

That's horrible! Please, offer my condolences to your husband for his hurt stomach. :)

Did Mike have a camera with him? He was probably just playing a prank to get a good shot for the Dripping Photographer Cemetery album cover. ;-)
